A vocab and grammar lesson today: in the podcast we had the term:
A fully grown adult
The point of this ‘fully grown’ is just to emphasise that we’re speaking about an adult, but the MOST important thing is to remember these terms in CONTEXT!
The biggest mistake I see students make is when they hear a new piece of vocabulary and try to apply it to other things (maybe “a fully grown boy”) and it either sounds strange (like ‘fully grown boy’ as it doesn’t really make sense) or is completely wrong, so just remember to use these things in CONTEXT!
By doing this, you will also learn the grammar as it’s inside the sentence – BOOM! 👊
