RnR Grammar

The RnR Grammar is in the title today, notice how it is April Fools‘ Day (with the apostrophe).

This is something that MANY MANY people make mistakes with…. especially ENGLISH people! ?

It is the day of all the fools (plural), and as it is ‘their’ day, they ‘possess’ the day, so we put the apostrophe AFTER the ‘s’.

If it were the day of only one fool, we would write April Fool’s Day.
