RnR Grammar
We had some nice present perfect in today’s episode. Everyone has studied this tense and knows the rules, but many people still have a lot of difficulty (including high levels).
In the show I said you Dan:
“Don’t worry about your hair, as it’s always been shit”
Obviously the ‘s in this case is “has” and as this action started in the past and is STILL IN PROGRESS we need that horrible Present Perfect to make the sentence and definitely NOT “it is shit from a long time”… that’s not RnR grammar… but present perfect definitely is baby! 👊
