In today’s show, Dan the Man got a bit confused with the second conditional, so let’s have a look at it in more detail:

“If I did betray you, I wouldn’t need any money”

Is what Dan said, but did you know the ‘would’ clause is 4 times more common than the ‘if’ clause? It’s true baby! So don’t think you always need to start one of these sentences with ‘if’, it’s more common with ‘would’ – so go with the flow! 👊
