RnR Grammar

I want to talk about the ROCKin’ expression “it turns out…”, notice how it’s followed by a subject “it turns out, I don’t know it at all”.

Remember, the meaning is “it’s surprising that…” or maybe “in the end…”, but it will always be followed by another subject!

Here are some more examples:

  1. It turns out, he’s a nice person.

  2. I thought the house would be terrible, but it turns out, it is lovely.

  3. I wasn’t expecting to have a good time, but it turns out, her friends are really nice.

    BOOM!
