RnR Grammar

Even though I made a MISTAKE with my 3rd conditional today, I DID use a pretty RnR mixed conditional!

Remember, I said:

“If I had’ve got it (the tattoo) on my arm, my life would be terrible now”

So the first part is NOT correct, as it should be:

“If I had got it (the tattoo) on my arm, my life would be terrible now”

Notice how the first part of the sentence talks about the PAST, but the second part talks about the PRESENT. So for this reason, it is a mix between the 3rd and 2nd conditional!
