The secret to understanding the present perfect is to understand we use it in DIFFERENT occasions, in this one, it’s simply because I’m talking about ‘in my life’, which luckily, is not over! So when we talk about a LIFE EXPERIENCE (and the time is not finished), we use the present perfect, baby!
