After a long wait, Mrs RnR were FINALLY able to get married! 😅 So here’s the story of what happened where we speak about to drink or not to drink on your wedding night 🍻, smelling of kebabs at the wedding 🥙, things in eyes (no crying obviously) 😭 and lots more! Too much to talk about in one episode, so there will be a Part 2 on Thursday (details are in the episode), so sit down, relax, get your headphones on and just keeeeeeeep on ROCKin’, baby! 👊
The RnR Vocab you will learn in today’s pod:
We have a run through of the wedding
I’m all over the place
I haven’t got it to hand
You have the photographer; you have the venue
Some people dropped out at the last minute
So you have to reshuffle the tables
That’s when the nerves started kicking in
There was no turning back
I want to be on tip top form
I did a lot of tossing and turning
I did not sleep a wink
You’re a grouch if you haven’t gotten your sleep
You have your groomsmen
We also had a page boy
I just nodded off for a bit
The make up would have smeared
She pulled it off
My hand is completely drenched
Then we got the vows
She just left me hanging
We got through the service
My shirt was soaked through
When we were posing for photos, we were looking at the photographer
Luckily she sorted it out
Notice that SS said today “you’re a grouch if you haven’t GOTTEN your sleep”…. many people ask me “is the past participle of ‘get’ ‘got’ or ‘gotten’, as I have seen both”
The answer is that they are BOTH correct! It’s just that in the UK, we use ‘got’ and in the US they use ‘gotten’, so don’t worry!
