Even if there were a nuclear war, one thing you could be sure about is this: an episode of RnR English on a Monday 💪 Why? Because we are consistently consistent! 😀 We speak about how to be consistent but also Dan’s GRAVESTONE 💀, his morning habits 🔞, biting ARSES 🙃 and much more!

It’s good to know I have some worth in the world
Thank you for your back-handed compliment

In today’s show, Dan mentioned how I was ‘touching’ him at yoga and I said:
“I was trying to put you off”
A quick quiz for you: how many of these sentences is INCORRECT?
I was trying to put off Dan
I was trying to put Dan off
I was trying to put off you
I was trying to put you off
I hope you got the answer, which is 1 of them (number 4 is incorrect). You will notice that a separable phrasal verb (like put off) doesn’t need to be separated if we have a name / noun (like sentence 1); however, when we have a PRONOUN (you), then the pronoun MUST ALWAYS go in the middle – BOOM!
That’s RnR grammar for you baby 👊
