In today’s episode Christina was talking about the Southern American accent and we spoke about the term “y’all”.

As she said in the show, this is a slang term that is the plural of ‘you’, as there ISN’T a plural of ‘you’ in English, so sometimes we invent one!

For example, in the UK, you will often hear people say “yous”, as people make the plural of ‘you’ by putting an ‘s’ on the end!

Again, this isn’t correct, but it’s something to think about as it’s very common! It’s just important to understand, not to use! 😉
