237 – Stories from a Trip to London 📕

A unique episode today as it’s the first episode in which Mrs RnR makes a guest appearance (I think 😅), so there’s your reason to listen right there! I tell you a few stories from the last few weeks of my time in the UK that involve a disgusting man and a sofa 🤢, an all you can eat breakfast 🍳, needing to do a poo in the airport 🚻 and lots more RnR stories! So sit back, get your headphones on and just keeeeep on ROCKin’, baby! 👊

Look out for this RnR Vocab in today’s episode:

  1. I’m not slagging him off

  2. 2 flights of stairs

  3. It was bordering on this

  4. I had to pay €50 to get something shoved up my nose

  5. Finally I got through passport control

  6. It was a roasting 16 degrees

  7. But luckily I redeemed myself

  8. Luckily I’m here to tell you that tale

RnR Grammar

In today’s episode I was talking about the lights from the London eye coming into our hotel room, I said “so much so that Mrs RnR insisted on sleeping with the curtains open”, this “so much so” is some lovely RnR Grammar that we use to say that our previous statement is “extremely true!”

Another example would be “RnR English is the best podcast in the world…. so much so that I listen to it every day!” 😉
