Today is a SPECIAL day ? And not just because you can listen to Dan the Man do the intro and outro (speaking like a ROBOT ?) but for LOTS of other reasons too! There is talk of DOOR holding ?, BLOOD boiling ?, duck’s ARSES ? and much much more! ? Just keeeeeeep on ROCKin’ baby! ???

RnR Grammar

In today’s podcast, when I was talking about the person that invented World Kindness Day, I said:

“Whoever invented this day must have thought it’s ‘Martin Johnston’s birthday, so it’s the perfect day for this event’ ”

When I use the term must have thought here, it’s because it’s a logical deduction and we are speaking about the past. If it were the present, I would say ‘he must think…’. When we use this expression, we are making an assumption based on our knowledge – BOOM! ?
