Episode 110 – It’s Better to Be Safe than Sorry 👷

RnR Grammar

In today’s show we had these 2 terms:

“To stop your head getting fucked up”

“The pool got evacuated”

Notice that both of these phrases have the word ‘get’ before them, hmmmmm….. why’s that?! Many people always ask about the word ‘get’ with its many meanings, but in this situation, it is quite simply a PASSIVE form!

Remember, the passive is used to say someONE or someTHING else did the action and that’s exactly what’s happening here baby! 👊
