RnR Grammar

In today’s podcast I used some serious RnR grammar when I said:

“I’d been walking around all day”

So this is the Past Perfect Continuous, which is used in the same time as the past perfect (when one action comes before another action), BUT the difference is that this form concentrates on the DURATION of the action!

I wanted to emphasise that I had been walking around ALL DAY (a long time), so I used the PPC – oh yea! 👊
