Episode 4 – Are you a genius?

Today we had so much much Rock n’ Roll vocabulary, that we’ll leave the grammar point, as I want you to remember the term “frowned upon”. A ‘frown’ is the name of the face the woman in the picture is giving.

So when something is ‘frowned upon’, like not picking up dog shit, it means that someone looks at you like the woman in the picture. Is it illegal? No. Is it socially acceptable? No.
