Episode 3 – Telling Lies

At the beginning of the podcast when I was explaining why I deleted Dan’s boring story, I said:

“If I hadn’t deleted the story, no-one would have listened”.

This is the third conditional that you use for past actions that we can’t change. The construction is always:

If + Subject + HAD + Past Participle – WOULD + HAVE + Past Participle
