Today’s RnR vocab…

We went on the baby slopes first as we were finding our feet
What really fucks me off about anniversaries is that people expect me to remember them
Dan always lets me down
I used to send that podcast to my old students, but funnily enough, it didn’t take off
I didn’t have the bottle to take action

RnR Grammar

We had some serious 3rd conditional today when I said to Dan:

“If you had won the referendum, I would have killed myself!”

Remember the simple formula for this and you will sound like a native speaker (actually better than a native speaker, as most of them don’t know it… like Dan!). Anyway, it’s:

If + HAD + Past Participle | WOULD HAVE + Past Participle

You shouldn’t even need to think about the words in bold as they are always the same! Keep it simple and keep on ROCKin’! 👊
