This is a very BAD podcast ? BUT there is some FANTASTIC RnR vocabulary! ? I take you on holiday with me to Sardinia ?️, but there is some bad quality audio and boring guests ?, but make sure you DO listen to the outro as there is some SERIOUSLY SEXY RnR vocabulary! Speaking of RnR vocabulary, here is today’s:

  1. A weekend away with the lads

  2. I ended up going to bed at 1am

  3. There is a possibility I will get mugged

  4. I was just nodding off and then they woke me up

  5. I’m lugging some bags around

  6. I’ve been for a dip in the pool

  7. We’re going to paint the town red and go for a boogie

   

   

RnR Grammar

Very short grammar section today (as I am STILL on holiday when writing this), but notice that the verb for that comes after the phrasal verb ‘end up’:

“I ended up going to bed at 1am”

After this phrasal verb, if you put another verb after it, it will ALWAYS be in the -ing.
