There is nothing more Rock n’ Roll than a third conditional, so that’s what we’re looking at today!

In the podcast, I mentioned the story about DELETING me after an argument (the bastard), then I said:

“just think Dan, if I hadn’t called you to make peace, we wouldn’t have made this podcast”

I use this form as I am talking about a PAST action that I cannot change. REMEMBER the formula is always:

HAD + Past Participle | WOULD* + HAVE + Past Participle

*This can sometimes be COULD, MIGHT or MAY but generally it’s WOULD.

If you ever do an English exam like IELTS for example and you include a third conditional in your answer, your chances of receiving a high mark will DEFINITELY increase! So make sure you do!
