RnR Grammar

My favourite piece of grammar is the second conditional. We had a lovely sentence today, as I said the first half of it, then Dan the Man finished it off… it went something like this….

Martin: “If I were funny…”

Dan: “…you would be full of women”

The thing to concentrate on though is the fact that I said “if I were…”. Remember we prefer to use “were” for all persons in the second conditional! ?
