We celebrate 3 years of ROCKin’! 🎉 We don’t remember EXACTLY when the podcast started, but it was definitely sometime in January 2017! So we celebrate in true RnR English fashion by sharing stories, talking about birthdays, children crying 😢, putting 💩 into cars, Dan the Man& Bamby 🦌 and lots more! Come and celebrate with us and just keep on ROCKin’, baby! 👊
The RnR vocab that you will learn in today’s show:
Another day, another dollar
Plastic surgery has come a long way
On account of you not telling me, no I don’t know
It’s go time, baby
Sometimes strolled hand in hand with love
What would you do if I suddenly grabbed your hand?
You instigated it (the hug)
He wanted to get with this girl
And you were in earshot of this?
You just have to roll with the punch
Dan has always been so sympathetic towards people
My niece just burst into tears
Easy, but quite demoralising
It’s not considered the done thing
There would always be a kid that stank
I need to address the problem
In today’s pod, I spoke about some irregular verbs at the end, when I said “stink, stank, stunk… sing, sang, sung… ring rang, rung” – these verbs belong to the ‘i – a – u’ family. Irregular verbs can be divided into families… what families? Well… now that you ask, I have a document that I made (about 3 years ago!) that you can click on HERE to see them all!
Remember we use this for actions that started in the PAST and are still in PROGRESS – oh yea!
