In today’s episode we had an EMPHATIC do from Clarification Charlie when she said “I DO love a good sunbathe, don’t get me wrong”.

So why did she use this?

Because when we were talking she was saying how she preferred swimming to sunbathing, but then she wanted to CONTRAST what she had just said, so when we want to do a bit of contrasting, we can use an emphatic do… BOOM!
